When was your company established?

The company was established in 2002 in Croatia and subsequently opened a branch in Dubai in 2008. During the recession in Europe it became our main office, while the company’s main focus shifted towards the Middle East, Africa and Indian Ocean markets.

Tell us about your company growth.

Overall the company has grown at an average of 26% YoY. However, over the past three years, the company has grown at an average of 37%.

What are your core products and services?

Our core products are outdoor furniture made of quality raw materials, along with upholstery that’s manufactured in Dubai. We also have our range of sun umbrellas, with deluxe parasols. In addition, we distribute Scolaro umbrellas, made in Italy, and Uhlmann heavy duty umbrellas made in Germany. All our products and services come with a 24/7 post-sales support.

What is the latest news from Sun and Shades?

We recently launched the outdoor furniture collection, Haute couture 2015. The entire range was designed in Europe, with a touch of Middle Eastern art and heritage. Designs are highly contemporary.

What else can we expect from you in 2016?

We will continue to expand to African and Indian Ocean markets. Thanks to our innovative products and fair price, we also aim to increase our market share in the Middle East.
