Panache International has introduced its Mozaik line of disposable ware that’s an eco-friendly product.
The range comprises of cups, plates, bowls, takeaway containers, lids and trays. The products are also non-toxic and made with food-grade material.
Panache was recently awarded ISO 9001:2008 certification and its product range includes disposable tableware, meal trays, cutlery, storage containers and aluminum and tin material sheets.
Aligning itself with the region’s sustainability goals, the companies Go Green initiative aims to create innovative, viable and sustainable pulp-based disposables, created with environmentally friendly natural sugarcane residue pulp.
The product range has been created with a visualisation of a safer, more ecological economy, in conjunction with Panache’s vision for 2020, a company statement said.
Panache International CEO Vishaal Shah said: “The sustainable products from our Mozaik range are created with natural resources and processes, which makes it a perfect disposables range for environmentally conscious users and the industry. Further to our collaboration with Green Hope, we are of the belief that the first step towards reducing the high carbon footprint of a home or industry begins in the kitchen. Our products are heat-resistant, making them fit for microwaving, and they are made of a biodegradable pulp incorporated in see-though lids with full coverage bowls that are ideal for display and transport.’’
