A new “underground” bar, Hobo, is opening in Dubai on February 29, reported sister title Arabian Business.
The so-called hidden venue is located in a car park at Nassima Royal Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road, with only a doorman at the entrance.
According to the brand, the lounge has a strict “no photo” press policy and is meant to attract speakeasy crowds like Dubai’s “creative communities” and “modern nomads.”
Featuring a live DJ, it will consist of 10 tables and can hold 100 people.
Hobo will be open from 11pm onwards on Monday nights only.
It was created by UAE-based hospitality group Bulldozer, the firm behind VIP Room and Movida.
