Sheraton Abu Dhabi to host Bavarian brew fest

Sheraton Abu Dhabi Hotel & Resort will host its first Bavarian Strong Brew Fest this March.

The hotel will introduce the traditional German strong beer from March 10-12.

Celebrating Bavarian brewing traditions, the three-day weekend festival will feature a selection of strong beers as well as a few other German brews. A live Bavarian band will be entertaining the crowd as authentic dishes will be prepared by guest chef, Frank Schulte of Germany.

“This is the first festival in Abu Dhabi where people can sample these specially brewed beers. We are excited to introduce two specialty products, the 9.6% Affumicator and the 6.6% Black Goosetaller created by the Gänstaller brewery just outside of Nuremberg,” said Yves Tarabout, general manager of the hotel.

The hotel has priced the entry at US $44 (AED160) per person, per day including unlimited food with the beer being sold separately.
