Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has promoted Rémy Merckx to the role of vice president marketing EMEA.
Merckx joined Carlson Rezidor in July 2013 and served as the senior director e-business development and became vice president digital marketing in February 2014.
In his new role, he will lead the EMEA marketing strategy encompassing digital marketing, guest engagement and loyalty (Club Carlson), CRM and e-commerce for Quorvus Collection, Radisson Blu, Radisson Red and Park Inn by Radisson brands.
"Rémy brings more than 20 years of travel industry experience with extensive knowledge of digital strategy and distribution, and has proven to be a key member of our business leadership team over the last two years.
