Salalah Rotana Oman appoints new DoS

Salalah Rotana Resort has welcomed Tamer Nemr as its new director of sales.

Nemr joins the team from Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan Hotel by Rotana Abu Dhabi where he held the position of director of business development for more than two years.

Prior to that, he occupied the position of sales manager at Rotana’s Abu Dhabi area sales office. During this time he successfully oversaw a range of the company’s hotels in Abu Dhabi.

Commenting on the appointment, Salalah Rotana Resort’s general manager Hossam Kamal said: “I am very delighted to welcome Nemr to our team. Bringing his vast knowledge of the GCC hotel industry, aggressive salesmanship and experience, I am confident he will implement strategic decisions to ensure growth and positively impact the resort’s performance’’.

Nemr said: “It is a pleasure to further my career with Rotana at the Oman property. I look forward to working closely with the sales team and top management of the resort to strengthen its reputation in key source markets.”

In his new role, Nemr will reinforce the resort’s key source markets, drive revenue and better position the five-star resort.
