Nishan Silva has been appointed as the new general manager for Pullman Dubai Creek City Centre. Silva joins the Dubai property directly from the Radisson Blu Hotel Cebu, Philippines.
Although this is Silva’s first role in the Middle East, he carries over 20 years of hospitality experience, 18 of which were spent working with the Hilton group.
Silva has also spent several years working with the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group. During his career, he has worked in Malaysia, the Maldives, Sri Lanka, India and the Philippines.
Silva holds a diploma in Hotel Management from the International Hotel Management Institute in Lucerne, Switzerland, as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of Leicester in England.
Commenting on his new role, Silva said: “We have an outstanding asset, and the vibrancy of the property, its situation and the range of services we offer are all aimed at serving our guests better, be they corporate, leisure or long-term residents. It’s going to be an interesting and innovative time for us.”
