DoubleTree by Hilton has opened the Doubletree by Hilton Van in Turkey, marking it as the 10th property for the brand in the country.
Turkey’s Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu visited the hotel for a pre-opening event early last week in conjunction with a conference set up by Ministry of Health.
“Turkey is an important, expanding market for our brand and we are excited to debut our tenth DoubleTree by Hilton in the country with the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Van,” said Dianna Vaughan, senior vice president and global head, DoubleTree by Hilton.
Located a short distance from the Muraidye Waterfalls, Nemrut Crater Lake, and with quick access into the city, DoubleTree by Hilton Van has 94 guest rooms, including 13 suites with views overlooking Lake Van.
DoubleTree by Hilton Van features a traditional Turkish spa, swimming pool and fitness centre.
The hotel has six restaurants and lounges, including the Esperanza Restaurant offering all-day dining.
DoubleTree by Hilton Van features seven flexible meeting rooms for up to 1,000 guests, as well as a pillar-free, 713 square metre (nearly 7,700 square foot) ballroom. The space can also be divided into two individual conference rooms, and includes a large foyer area.
DoubleTree by Hilton Van, participates in the Hilton HHonors loyalty programme, and is located at Ipek Yolu Caddesi, Van, Turkey.
