The tenth annual Sharjah Food Festival will take place at Al Qasba from March 31-April 9.
Organised by Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), this year, the family friendly will operate under the theme “many flavours, one festival”.
Sharjah Food Festival 2016 will feature cooking competitions held between Shurooq staff, government and private sector employees, followed by a cooking competition between celebrities and social media influencers.
The event will also include professional chef contests, such as chocolate, ice, fruit and vegetable carving, three-tier wedding cake creation, mocktail blending, barbecuing, coffee art and pizza making.
Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) COO Ahmed Obaid Al Qaseer said: “The Sharjah Food Festival expanded from Al Qasba to other locations in the emirate, so we are delighted to welcome its returns to its original home - Sharjah’s premier family and leisure destination.
“I invite all food enthusiasts in Sharjah, the UAE and outside the country to come to Al Qasba to experience great cuisine, top entertainment and the chance to learn new cooking skills.”
