Rotana has opened the budget hotel Centro Capital Doha, offering 229 rooms and studios, according to company officials.
“The demand for hotel rooms, especially in the four star hotels category, which deliver luxury at affordable prices has risen in the past five years. In line with this, we are witnessing the launch of the first Centro brand in town,” said Al Malki group chairman Ali Ibrahim Abdullah Al Malki, addressing the official opening ceremony of the hotel.
“Rotana has been a long-standing player in Qatar’s hospitality sector and the launch of our fourth property in town Centro Capital Doha reaffirms this position,” said Rotana Hotel Management Corporation chairman Nasser Al Nowais.
Officials said Centro Capital Doha will feature amenities customised to the business traveller’s needs, including two meeting rooms, gymnasium and swimming pool.
“We are delighted to witness the opening of Centro Capital Doha which marks the debut of the Centro brand in Qatar. The hotel is characterised by distinct accommodation in a modern environment designed primarily for business travellers who seek chic accommodation at affordable prices,” said Rotana President and CEO Omer Kaddouri.
“Centro Capital Doha is an additional milestone that will be added to our portfolio. We are here today to witness a new era of hotel services that cater to the new generation of traveller requirements, with high quality, reasonable prices and competitiveness,” he added.
