The H Hotel and Resort Management Company has officially launched the “H Hospitality Collection” under which all its resorts will operate.
The global development of the H Collection is set to take place over the next five years, which includes H Montenegro, H Sri Lanka and H Abu Dhabi.
Regional director and The H Dubai general manager Kevork Deldelian told Hotelier Middle East that the hotel in Abu Dhabi “is being built with the feel and spirit of a traditional dhow”.
The property in UAE's capital is expected to open in 2018, and will offer 120 keys. It is located by the waterfront near the Emirates Palace hotel.
Deldelian also said the firm was announcing the H Hospitality Collection at Arabian Travel Market 2016. “Why [is it called a] collection? That is due to the fact that from a brand perspective, we would like to go into the market with our properties differentiated,” said Deldelian.
The properties will be totally different, according to Deldelian, where properties can include a city tower hotel like The H Dubai or a resort, such as the H Resort Beau Vallon Beach, Seychelles.
“We’re not going into the lines of a cookie cutter concept. It can look different; every property will stand alone, while still under the collection,” he added.
Deldelian revealed: “We’re looking seriously at the UK and the US. And we are very keen about GCC, and even more properties in the UAE.”
