Nikhil Pereira, June 6th, 2016

Gourmet catering company, Chez Charles, has unveiled its catering concept for Ramadan, which caters to groups with guest chefs and waiters.

Chez Charles has created menu options that combine Oriental cuisine with a French twist. The catering is available to book for corporate and private groups.

“Whether you are hosting a simple suhour or a more extravagant iftar feast, our team can assist with arranging an impressive meal in the comfort of your own home,” said Charles Boghos, CEO, Chez Charles.

“Our service takes care of everything, from creating a customised menu to the thrill of expert chefs working from your kitchen and having highly-trained waiters serving the food to guests around your table. We look forward to helping you host your ideal Ramadan meal,” Boghos added.

Bite-sized treats include hand chopped eggplant caviar flavored with mint and red tomato, hummus and blinis and lamb spring rolls with coriander.

These can be followed with salads such as beetroot salad and semolina tabbouleh with shrimps and vegetables, as well as soups including pumpkin and chilled cucumber.

Among the main courses on offer are: lamb or chicken tajine with dry prunes and Mona Lisa potato; roasted free range chicken with honey and lemon; sea bass fillet cooked with zaatar and grilled vegetables; and vegetarian Carnaroli risotto.

There are four menu structures to choose from, with prices starting from US $47.64 (AED175) for the Menu Bistrot Your Selection, which includes one bite, one starter, one soup, one main course and one dessert per guest inclusive of beverages.

At the other end of the scale, there is the Menu Haute-Couture Your Selection, priced at US $96.65 (AED355) per person, which includes four bites, four starters, one soup, three main courses and four desserts per guest inclusive of beverages.
