Conrad debuts in Saudi Arabia

Conrad Hotels & Resorts has opened its first hotel in Saudi Arabia.

The 438-room Conrad Makkah, which overlooks Al Masjid al Haram and the Holy Kaabah, houses its own mosque that accommodates up to 1,000 people and has an audio connection to Al Haram.

F&B options at Conrad Makkah include steak restaurant Prime and all-day dining restaurant Al Mearaj, serving local and international cuisine. 

Conrad Hotels & Resorts global head John T.A. Vanderslice said: "We are delighted to open our first luxury hotel in the holy city and begin welcoming pilgrims and guests.”
