Melia’s only Dubai hotel has made three new key appointments, the first of which is hotel manager Saurabh Tiwari.
Tiwari began his journey in hotel food and beverage, working across four different Melia properties in Spain.
Tiwari began his career with The Oberoi hotel and Le Meridien, after graduating from the Merit Swiss Asian school of hotel management.
He then worked in London and Spain before he took on his current role in Dubai.
Tiwari is fluent in Spanish, and is also experienced in writing restaurant concepts, project management and opening new properties.

Melia Dubai has also appointed Ralf Drotleff as chief engineer of the Dubai property.
The German-native graduated from German technical university - Hochschule Mannheim Frankfurt with a degree in engineering.
Drotleff has more than 20 years of experience working in Spain, USA, South America, and the Middle East.
His expertise spans across healthcare, technical services, construction and the hospitality sector.
Drotleff was the first technical director in a Spanish public hospital, and the first non-Spanish technical director in the governmental Spanish healthcare system.
He broke into the hospitality sector when he took up the role of technical area manager EMEA with Melia International in Spain.

Nainta started his career in Melia Dubai as the restaurant manager at Signature by Sanjeev Kapoor and has progressed up the ranks.
He not only helped launch Sanjeev Kapoor’s restaurant but has since helped various restaurants within the hotel get off the ground.
