One to One hires first Saudi hotel manager

One to One Hotels & Resorts has appointed Ghassan Al Sharif as the hotel manager for One to One Al Yasime – Makkah.

Ghassan Al Sharif is the first Saudi national to be appointed to this position by the hotel group.

Commenting on the new appointment, One to One Hotels COO Philippe Harb said: “One to One has achieved 40% Saudisation across their hotels and is targeting 45% Saudisation over the coming few years.”

In his new role, Al Sharif will lead a team of 85 employees, working in the rooms and F&B departments of the 383 key property in Makkah.

Al Sharif’s professional background is in sales and marketing. He was previously head of sales Middle East and Africa for Al Sawani group of companies.
