Burj al Arab opens new restaurant and bar

Penelope Walsh, June 15th, 2016

Following the launch of The Terrace at the end of last month, the Burj Al Arab has now opened a new F&B outlet within the new beach club.

Although The Terrace is open only to members and hotel guests, the new eatery, Scape Restaurant & Bar, is open to the public.

The new outlet offers indoor and outdoor seating. It will be open to serve lunch and dinner, as well as offering shisha at the outdoor bar area.

The kitchen at Scape Restaurant & Bar will be overseen by head chef Timur Fazilov, who has previously worked at Zuma Dubai and Catch Abu Dhabi.

The new restaurant features a “Californian fusion style” menu, which includes signature dishes such as hamachi crudo, with ponzu, pistachio, citrus zest, shallot rings and olives; scallop tiradito with tiger milk, apple and red radish; slow roasted Wagyu short ribs with pomelo, candied peanut, Swiss chard and pave potato; and chocolate peanut pot de crème.
