Royal Catering has appointed chefs Yannick Tirbois and Tarek Hamze to work with its culinary team.

Tirbois, an experienced executive chef, has 30 years’ experience. He will take on the role of executive chef for Royal Catering’s outlets, including Catch, Rozanah and Café D’Alsace.

Hamze, who has extensive experience in restaurant operations management, training and development, special events staging, and quality assurance in the Middle East, is now Royal Catering’s executive chef of banqueting.

He moved to the UAE and joined Royal Catering in 2016, and has been instrumental in developing Royal Catering’s new 82L8 branches – a new convenience concept that offers a range of healthy snacks for workers in commercial offices in Abu Dhabi.

“As Royal Catering continues to expand its operations across Abu Dhabi, we are growing our highly skilled team of chefs to ensure we consistently deliver superior gastronomy from our central kitchen facility and restaurant outlets,” said Royal Catering chief operations officer Jean Pierre Garat.

He added: "we are pleased to welcome so many experienced new chefs to our talented kitchen team."
