Ramada Plaza Jumeirah Beach has promoted two of its F&B team members to more prominent positions within the hotel.

The first promotion sees the Dubai-based hotel’s current sous chef Prashan Perera become the new executive sous chef at the property.

His new role will see Perera direct Ramada Plaza Jumeirah Beach’s entire kitchen operations, including six restaurants and room service.

Perera joined Ramada Plaza Jumeirah Beach in 2012 as sous chef. Originally from Sri Lanka, Perera has over 20 years of culinary experience, a significant portion of which has seen him work in the UAE.

During his time in the UAE Perera has won 14 medals from the Emirates Culinary Guild.
