Following its debut in London's Shoreditch later this month, the world’s first 3D printing pop-up restaurant will be visiting Dubai.
Food Ink, described by Lonely Planet as a conceptual dinner series, is travelling to 21 cities around the world, bringing together cuisine, technology and art.
At each city, a nine-course tasting menu with wine pairing will be served, with 3D printing technology (the byFlow Focus 3D-printer) used to create the dishes in front of diners’ eyes.
The menu has been designed and will be implemented by an international team of chefs and artists.
Food Ink launches in London on July 25 and will remain in the UK capital for two days. Following that, the restaurant will visit Berlin, Dubai, Seoul, Rome, Barcelona, Paris, Amsterdam, Toronto, New York, Taipei, Las Vegas, Sao Paolo, Tokyo, Austin, Singapore, Los Angeles, Cape Town, Sydney and Reykjavik.
