Several well-known US restaurant chains have recently signed deals to open outlets in Dubai and the Middle East, according to a report by US website Eater.

Among them is New York City burger chain Black Tap, famed for its ostentatious milkshakes. A branch of Black Tap is expected to open in Dubai, although no location is confirmed, and additional branches located elsewhere in the Middle East are also expected to open.

Also coming to Dubai, and expanding across the region, is American burger chain Wahlburger’s. The burger chain recently signed an agreement for 20 new venues within in the Middle East, which includes Dubai.

American pizza chain Big Mama's & Papa's has signed an agreement with BinHendi Enterprises to open two locations within the Middle East.

Denver based ice-cream parlour The Inventing Room has signed a shareholder agreement to open new outlets in Dubai. This will be Dubai’s latest ice-cream concept using liquid nitrogen to instantly freeze the product to order.

Boston based tapas restaurant Toro, is now expected to open in Dubai this autumn. The chefs behind the venture are Ken Oringer and Jamie Bissonnette.

Longhorn Steakhouse restaurants are also opening in Dubai, through an agreement signed with Darden restaurant group.
