UAE-headquartered Time Hotels has appointed Laurent Barelier as its new corporate director of revenue management and e-distribution as the company aims to develop its strategy and grow its portfolio, according to an official statement.
Barelier, a French national, is a graduate of the American College of Greece and holder of an MBA in International Hospitality Management from Cornell University, Paris.
He has over 17 years’ corporate hospitality experience having worked for a number of successful international hospitality chains both in the Middle East and globally.
Time Hotels CEO Mohamed Awadalla commented, “Laurent has a wealth of experience and an in-depth understanding of the requirements of a hotel chain of Time Hotels stature combined with the technical ability from a corporate revenue perspective. These skills, paired with good knowledge of pre-opening strategies and implementation, will be crucial as we look to promote our business in Q4 2016 and throughout 2017.”

Bareliers’ career includes senior management roles with Intercontinental in Athens, Greece, Accor Hotels, Dubai, Wyndham Hotel group, Dubai and latterly as a management consultant for the Majestic Tower Hotel, Dubai.
