Doha's Oryx Rotana has appointed Lizette Duco as its new recreation director.
A fitness training professional with more than 15 years of industry experience, Duco will oversee the operations of The Bodylines leisure and fitness club at Oryx Rotana Doha.
She will also lead the development of family-focused fitness programming.
Duco was previously recreation manager for Hili Rayhaan Rotana Al Ain since 2014. Prior to that, she served as the cluster GX manager for Gold’s Gym International Abu Dhabi from 2012 to 2013 and as personal training coordinator and fitness trainer at several fitness training centres and corporate houses in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Philippines from 2000 to 2012.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science, College of Human Kinetics from the University of the Philippines. Her special interests are human kinetics research, individual fitness training and group exercise.
