Iain Joyce joins Movenpick Hotel Bahrain

Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain has appointed a new executive chef, Iain Joyce.

Joyce has more than 20 years of experience and previously spent nine years with Kempinski properties in Djibouti, Jordan and China, where he served as executive chef.

Prior to his time with Kempinski, Joyce was executive sous chef at Madinat Jumeirah.

The executive chef began his career in his hometown of Bournemouth, England before moving on to roles bigger roles in New Zealand, Bermuda and the Middle East.

Joyce said in a statement: "Bahrain is very welcoming and has an innovative dining scene. I am very pleased in joining a property that has a strong and renowned reputation."

The five-star Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain has five F&B outlets with different themes inspired by Europe and East Asia.
