Shortlisting begins for the Hotelier Awards 2016

The Hotelier Middle East editorial team has begun shortlisting the entries for the 2016 edition of the awards, set to take place on October 26, 2016.

With six shortlisted entries per category, the final shortlist of 102 entries will be submitted to the jury ahead of the judges' meeting in October.

Table bookings for the awards ceremony are being accepted, with a 5% early booking discount to anyone who books their table before September 8, 2016.

This discount will only be applicable to those who purchase their table with a credit card payment (not on invoice).

You are able to purchase your seats directly through the website www.hoteliermiddleeast.com/awards and click on “Table Bookings”. Following a short registration process, people are able to book their seats in their desired zones based on availability.

The prices are as follows (before discount):

Zone 1: Table (seats 10pax): AED 16,000; Individual Seat: AED 2,000
Zone 2: Table (seats 10pax): AED 13,000; Individual Seat: AED 1,600

The Hotelier Middle East Awards 2016 has 17 categories this year, and will take place at The Ritz-Carlton, DIFC on Wednesday, October 26.

Now in its twelth year, the Hotelier Middle East Awards recognises a broad range of front- and back-of-house roles, from laundry managers to chefs, marketing experts to concierges and spa professionals to engineers.

The awards will follow an Old Hollywood Glamour theme this year – suitably fitting for the “Oscars of the Middle East” for the hospitality industry.
