Dubai-based property developer Omniyat is to open 505 five-star hotel rooms and 495 deluxe serviced apartments in Dubai by 2020.
Omniyat has revealed plans to make its debut on Dubai’s hospitality scene with The Opus along with a number of other developments across the city, according to Arabian Business.
Speaking at Cityscape Global 2016, Omniyat managing director Mark Phoenix said: “We are thrilled to be introducing some of the world’s finest hospitality brands to the city, including the prestigious Langham and the ME by Melia which will be housed in the stunning Opus development, designed by the celebrated late architect Zaha Hadid".

“Our commitment to opening another 505 hotel rooms across the city is just the start of our plans to make our mark on the hospitality scene.”
Omniyat said it will be opening three developments in the city by 2020: Langham Place, downtown Dubai, with 167 hotel rooms and 153 serviced apartments, Plot 18, Business Bay, with 245 hotel rooms and suites and 246 serviced apartments, and The Opus, with 93 hotel rooms and 96 serviced apartments.
Omniyat said that since launching in 2005, it has US $ 4.41 billion (AED16.2 billion) worth of projects in progress.
