Time Hotels is to expand its restaurant management business with the opening of the second O’Learys US sports-themed restaurant, Time Hotels chief executive officer Mohamed Awadalla told Hotelier Middle East.

Following an announcement earlier in the year, O’Learys Sheikh Zayed Road is Time’s first franchise in Dubai, following the launch of its debut outlet at Fujairah Mall in January 2016.

Speaking on the growth of Time, Awadalla said: “As a company, we started with only two hotel apartments and one hotel, we were a small team back then and we worked hard to build this company, we have developed a strong base in order to move forward.”

The 596m2, Boston sports-themed casual restaurant will have 250 seats across six different areas, including an outdoor terrace, dedicated shisha area and bar.

O’Learys’ restaurants worldwide totals 120 outlets in 10 countries spread across Asia, Europe and the Middle East, and the global turnover was US$186 million (AED 683 million).
