W Doha's refurbed Wet Deck reopens

The Wet Deck pool area has now reopened at the W Doha Hotel & Residences, following a refurb. The hotel’s poolside lounge WAHM reopened earlier this year following several months of renovation.

The Wet Deck was initially expected to reopen in early August 2016, however, following a slight delay, the pool area has now reopened.

Commenting on the reopening, Starwood Hotels & Resort area manager for Qatar and Oman, and W Doha GM Safak Guvenc said: “We are grateful to our interior designer, United Design Partnership (UDP) who have completed the third of W Doha’s recent renovations from Market by Jean-Georges, WAHM and now Wet Deck. At the heart of this key decision is our mission to embrace continuous improvement and innovation to ensure our clients are provided unique experiences that can only be truly found and enjoyed at the W.”

Design features at the Wet Deck include a waterfall, handmade tiles, and blue glass screens around the seating areas. According to the hotel, a food and beverage service is expected to launch soon at the Wet Deck.
