The Hotelier Awards represent a great opportunity to meet and network with industry leaders and gives us an opportunity to recognise outstanding performers who contribute to the future of the hospitality industry. Last year’s awards were a great success and it motivated us to be part of this year’s event.

What are you most excited about when it comes to this year’s ceremony?

2016 was a tough year for the market in general, and for the hospitality industry, in particular. Therefore, hospitality professionals had to go the extra mile in planning and execution. Winners in 2016 are certainly exceptional. We, at Ecolab, are so excited to meet, recognise and honour these winners.

Hotelier Middle East Awards is one of the most important events in Dubai for the industry. It brings all people involved with hotel industry together in one hall. We are proud to have supported this event for the past few years. As a supplier to the hospitality industry, it is great to see such events raise the standards of the hospitality sector throughout the Middle East. The hotels, services and amenities, and, of course, the people that make the industry so successful continue to improve. We, as a result, are always trying to improve just to keep up with the industry. Attaching our name to this event, as we previously have, is a privilege.

What are you most excited about when it comes to this year’s ceremony?

It is great to see that year after year, hotels are becoming more and more impressive. It is also fantastic that more and more of the services and people get noticed for all the different roles that help make a hotel function. The Middle East as a whole can draw the biggest brands and the top people available. From a business perspective we are excited that the future is moving in the right direction.
