Dubai-based Al Bustan Centre and Residence recently organised a health awareness programme focusing on prevention of heart attacks as part of the property’s Responsibility Awareness Programme, according to a company statement.

Hotel employees from different departments gathered to learn from Al Qusais specialist on Internal Medicine Dr. Raji Matthew, MediClinic, as he imparted lectures on heart attack, one of the most pressing illnesses in the country.

Al Bustan Centre and Residence chief operating officer Moussa El Hayek said: “We, at Al Bustan Centre and Residence, put high regard on the physical wellness of our employees as they are the core assets of the property. This health awareness focusing on heart ailment is one of the few measures we have taken under the Responsibility Awareness Programme to support their welfare.”

Matthew emphasised the ways to recognize symptoms and explained how medical systems and practitioners help to remove heart blockages.

He also encouraged each participant to be aware of taking precautions to prevent attacks such as healthy choices related to food and exercise.
