Deepak Manocha joined the Marriott & Marriott Executive Apartments Al Jaddaf Dubai as general manager from September 2016.
Over the past two years, he was the general manager at the Marriott Harbour Suites, responsible for overseeing the hotel operations, including guest and associate satisfaction, human resources, financial performance, sales and revenue generation, marketing efforts and overall performance and strategy execution of the hotel.
During his tenure, he led the team in delivering excellent results across all areas, picking up a number of awards in the process. Among his achievements included repositioning three food and beverage outlets for the Hotel – The Croft, Counter Culture Café and The Observatory.

He joined Marriott in 2001 as front office manager at the JW Marriott Mumbai. A promotion to director of rooms soon followed, and he then moved to the Goa Marriott Resort as director of operations in 2007.
Manocha achieved his first general manager appointment at the pre-opening of Courtyard by Marriott, Pune Hinjewadi in August 2008.
In 2010, he was appointed pre-opening general manager at the JW Marriott Chandigarh, which opened in 2011.
Manocha is a trained glider pilot, has completed two marathons during his time in Dubai and is currently pursuing education from Harvard Business School.
