Ramada Ajman marks World Food Day with donations

Food donations from Ramada Hotel and Suites Ajman are supporting local families in need, while contributing to waste reduction targets.

Led by its food and beverage department, Ramada Ajman donated its excess food from its buffet to Al Ihsan Charity Organisation, a charity supporting families in need by providing them with monthly and seasonal financial and food support.

Ramada Hotel & Suites Ajman general manager Iftikhar Hamdani noted in a statement: “Through this initiative, we not only feed less fortunate people, but also avoid food wastage.”

Highlighting the hotel’s goal of achieving zero waste and total landfill diversion, he added: “We are positive that we can bring down our food waste from 10% to 2%. Donating food is just one of the many ways to help the people and the environment and our team will continue to be innovators and benefactors in our community.”
