One&Only launches Technogym advanced-training programme

Louise Birchall, September 17th, 2008

Luxury resort group One&Only has partnered with Italian-based Technogym to streamline its worldwide fitness facilities.

Technogym equipment, with its advanced-technology key system, has been implemented at the One&Only Royal Mirage in Dubai, as well as at the chaina's properties in the Maldives, Mauritius, the Bahamas and Mexico to offer a personalised wellbeing experience.

This means that for the first time, guests will be able to access their key to access a tailored fitness programme, nutritional advice and specific spar treatments all over the world.
One&Only fitness director Maggie Derblay said: All our properties are using the Kinesis technology from Technogym so that every guest knows that, whichever One&Only resort they visit, they will experience the same high standard of equipment and training.

The key system will apply to each resort, meaning that once the guest has left, they will receive a follow-up service and a record of their individual fitness programme will be maintained so that upon returning, the guest can continue their preferred fitness plan. The programme will also be fully-integrated with specific spa treatments and nutritional advice.

Nerio Alessandri, president and founder of Technogym said: “Our partnership with One&Only is based on a comprehensive programme integrating equipment, software and services, and we are excited about seeing the response from guests, especially as no other hotel group has this level of advanced Technogym equipment at every resort.
