Four Seasons Hotel Amman director of security, safety and loss prevention Mohammed Al-Shishani was adjudged the Safety and Security Person of the year.
Al-Shishani has been at his role since 2011. And in 2012, the title of director of occupational safety was added to his remit. Over the last five years, Shishani has also played a major role in focusing on the safety, security and welfare of people at work.
Under his guidance the hotel was labelled the ‘Safest Hotel in Jordan for the last five years.
The Four Seasons Hotel Amman also scored 95% in the Annual Security Audit contracted by Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts. The property was head and shoulders above all other Four Seasons properties across the world.

Al-Shishani has been able to secure a strong reputation for the property with government agencies, security authorities and foreign embassies, who also consider the property to be the safest hotel in Jordan.
Accepting the award on Al-Shishani’s behalf was his colleague from Four Seasons Dubai at Jumeirah Beach, Lorenzo Maraviglia.
Ecolab corporate account manager Chloe Chan presented the award to Maraviglia.
The 2016 Hotelier Awards took place last night (October 26) at the Ritz-Carlton Dubai International Financial Centre and recognised the industry's finest professionals.
