Eathos business development director Nadim Majdalani said: “First Avenue was the right fit for SushiArt. In Motor City, the profile of the local community fits our customer profile - educated professionals who lead busy lives and want a different, convenient and premium dining experience.

"As well as that, there is demand for higher quality sushi, served with beauty and taste in mind. We are looking forward to welcoming diners to SushiArt at First Avenue.”

ATDI general manager Dr Ramy Moussly added: “SushiArt was a natural fit for us. Consumers in Dubai are shifting their dining preferences towards more modern, premium, casual and social experiences. They want variety, convenience and quality. SushiArt provides all that. And, First Avenue, as a mall and hotel development, is differentiated by our motoring theme, variety of retail, hospitality and leisure options, and location at the heart of a new growth corridor in Dubai.”

There are plans to open SushiArt outlets in Saudi Arabia, with two sites signed in Riyadh and one in Jeddah, next year.
