Two Rotana properties in Dubai to be deflagged

Two of Rotana’s hotels in Dubai will cease to operate under its brand name from 2017.

Rotana and the properties’ owners Dubai International Real Estate (DIRE) have mutually agreed to the termination of the agreement for the management of Al Bustan Hotel and Al Murooj Hotel in Dubai.

The Al Bustan Rotana is located near the Dubai International Airport and the Le Meridien Conference and Exhibition Centre. The Al Murooj Rotana is located in the Burj Khalifa district in Downtown Dubai

DIRE has confirmed in a press statement that it will take over the management of both hotels under their own management company, from January 1, 2017.

A press statement said: “This is a mutual decision between Rotana Hotel Management Corporation and Dubai International Real Estate and both parties are now working together to ensure a seamless transition.”
