Arrival figures have revealed traffic from Saudi Arabia into Abu Dhabi’s airport increased 43.5% last month, compared with last year, local media has reported.

These figures are set to rise further after Saudi budget airline Flynas recently began direct flights between Dammam and Abu Dhabi International.

According to the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi), Saudi Arabia was the seventh-largest market for Abu Dhabi during the first 10 months of the year, accounting for 125,470 tourists.
