Abu Dhabi-based Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana is set to hold Gong Meditation (also known as Gong Bath as one is bathed in the sounds of the gong) on January 12, 2017 by Al-Liwan For Culture & Arts at the hotels fitness studios.
Gong meditations is a type of sound therapy that has been around for thousands of years as a way of healing that aids in stress reduction and breaking up emotional blockages.
Upon completing the therapy session guests are served dinner in the hotel.
As part of the practice, guests can paint to the sound of ancient Gongs and other instruments.
Liwan Group had been founded on 2004 owned and led by Her Highness Shaikha Salama Bint Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al-Nahyan and since then has been a presenter in the field of events across United Arab Emirates.
