Rosalind Parsk has been appointed as the new executive chef at Courtyard by Marriott Dubai Green Community.

She will be responsible for overseeing her team, as well as the day-to-day F&B operations.

Commenting on her new role, she said: “I am delighted to begin 2017 with the Marriott family in my new role as executive chef at the Courtyard Green Community. I look forward to serving the community and food lovers of Dubai an authentic and memorable dining experience.”

Parsk’s career began in London after she graduated from Westminster Kingsway College. She trained at Marco Pierre White’s The Belvedere in London’s Holland Park and also under Gordon Ramsay at The Grillroom in The Connaught Hotel, London.

In 2007, she relocated to Dubai to work with Gary Rhodes at Rhodes Mezzanine as a chef de partie. Parsk then worked as a sous chef at Cavalli Club and Capital Club in DIFC before becoming head chef at Pierchic in 2012.

After this, she moved to The Ivy Dubai as head chef.

Courtyard’s restaurants include Cucina, serving traditional trattoria-style cuisine; SOBO, a poolside outlet serving Arabic food; and Neighbourhood, a relaxed venue offering British cuisine.
