Kempinski Hotel MOE promotes hotel manager to GM

Kempinski Hotel Mall Of The Emirates has promoted Slim Zaiane to the position of general manager. 

He was previously hotel manager at Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates, having first joined the property in this role in 2014.

Commenting on his promotion UK-national Zaiane said: “I’m delighted to embark on my first general manager position at Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates, a hotel I have helped lead throughout its $100 million renovation over the past two years."

Zaiane has over 15 years of experience in hospitality, having worked with international chains including Hilton and Sofitel.

He began his career as the front office manager at Red Carnations Hotels in London, before moving to Hilton London Heathrow to take up the position of director of front office for the hotel. He has since worked in several European cities, including Geneva in Switzerland.

He then worked as the rooms division director and revenue manager at Hilton Newcastle Gateshead and then as director of F&B at Hilton London Metropole.

In February 2013, Zaiane moved to Dubai to work at Al Bustan Rotana Dubai as the property’s executive manager, reporting to the area general manager.
