EU Milky Way

The EU Milky Way programme is initiated by the Czech and Moravian Dairy Association (CMSM) The programme is co-funded by the Czech Republic and the European Union. The campaign is aimed at increasing the knowledge and consumption of selected quality European dairy products made in the Czech Republic. The focus of the programme lays emphasis on: drinking milk and cream referred to as fresh, and long life. Condensed milk and cream, yoghurt (including Greek yoghurt and drinking yoghurt), curd and cream desserts, cheese (fresh and semi-hard steamed cheese) and dairy spreads are in focus, and the programme focuses on the importance of a balanced daily diet. The EU Milky Way Programme will run until 2019 and is targeting the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon markets.

La Marquise International has signed a new partnership with Chocolaterie Monbana, and the exclusive distribution rights extend across the UAE and Oman. Monbana, launched in 1934, has evolved from a family owned business in France to a worldwide company distributing in almost 60 countries. Monbana’s range includes hot chocolate, frappes and milkshakes as well as accompaniments like small biscuits and chocolate squares that combine with any hot drink.
