Maher Ibrahim of the Palazzo Ballroom in Jeddah beat 43 other Saudi-based pastry chefs with his signature dessert at the latest Nestlé Docello Masterclass.

The Egyptian national won a trip to the Culinary Art Food Expo in Sri Lanka.

The event took place on 7 February at the Ashoor Tent in Jeddah and started with a pastry workshop led by award-winning chef Jodi-Ann Pearton, who shared culinary trends, tips and exciting new concepts in the pastry arena and demonstrated the Nestlé Docello dessert range.

In the afternoon the chefs got their hands on the Nestlé Docello products and competed to create their own signature dessert.
