Emaar Hospitality Group has revealed six new hotel projects in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Egypt at Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2017.
With 10 operational hotels and three serviced residences, Emaar Hospitality Group has added to its pipeline, increasing the number to 26 upcoming projects.
Emaar Hospitality Group CEO Olivier Harnisch said at the press conference in Dubai: "We have a growing footprint here in Dubai and the UAE, and now increasingly in international markets."
The operator's new projects include: Address Dubai Creek Harbour and Address Residences Dubai Creek Harbour; the Address Marassi Beach Resort and Address Residences Marassi Beach Resort, part of the beachfront Marassi master-planned development by Emaar Misr in Egypt; and, marking the group's foray into the UAE's capital, the Vida Beach Reem Island Abu Dhabi and Vida Residences Beach Reem Island Abu Dhabi, both for Aldar Properties.
All these properties are set to open between 2019 and 2020, Harnisch further revealed.
Harnisch said at the conference that the group has the ability to manage mixed-use developments, and added: "We are further expanding our remit and focusing on management agreements to operate hotels for owners who are not Emaar Properties and this will be one of our key development models going forward."
Emaar Hospitality Group had already signed a management contract to operate Address Marassi Golf Resort + Spa in the Marassi master-development in Egypt.
Other Address Hotels + Resorts pipeline projects that have been previously announced are located in Dubai, Fujairah, Bahrain and Turkey. Under the Vida Hotels and Resorts brand, previously revealed properties include the Vida Dubai Creek Harbour, Vida Dubai Marina and Vida Residences Dubai Marina, and the Vida Marassi Marina and Vida Residences Marassi Marina in Bahrain.
The operator recently opened The Address Boulevard, and has three Rove Hotels in operation – Rove Downtown, Rove City Centre and Rove Healthcare City. The group is on track to open Rove Trade Centre shortly (Harnisch said it would open in "a few weeks") as well as drive the roll-out of six more hotels in Dubai Marina and Dubai Parks and Resorts, among others.
He briefly mentioned that the Address Downtown Dubai would re-open this year, but did not share a confirmed opening date, although it has been reported that the property will open by the end of 2017.
