Fairmont Dubai donated Iftar meals to more than 450 labourers living in Al Quoz industrial area, involving more than 30 colleagues, executive committee members, and department heads.
The meal boxes included fresh fruits, biryani, sandwiches, dates, cookies, pastries, tea, and water, and were handed out an hour before sunset in time for Iftar.
Fairmont Dubai, hotel manager, Steven Stefaniuk: said: “Ramadan is a special time because it’s the month where the local community comes together to celebrate the spirit of giving.
“We decided as a team to share and distribute Iftar meals to the labourers and low-income workers living in the industrial area.”
He added: “We hope that this small act will help them through another meal period and put a smile on their faces knowing that someone cares. Our aim is to continue to strengthen our commitment and solidarity to the local community through such activities.”
