Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham JBR handed out meals to labour camp workers and cab drivers during the month of Ramadan. The team gave out iftar boxes and joined 100 labourers in Al Quoz Industrial Area in breaking their fast.
The property also distributed 180 iftar bags for cab drivers over the course of three days. The meal includes dates, chicken biryani, kheer, raita, and water.
Hotel manager Samer Rafie said in a statement: "Ramadan is a time of sharing, reflection, and togetherness with loved ones, especially during the breaking of fast.
"However, our cab drivers and labourers couldn’t spend this time with their families, as they are away and working for the community. This is our simple way of showing our gratitude and appreciation for all their hard work and dedication."
