Zuma Dubai in Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards top 10 list
Zuma Dubai has placed on the final 10 list for the title of the world’s best restaurant cocktail bar at this year’s 11th annual Tales of the Cocktail Spirted Awards.
A statement revealed that it is the third year running that the Dubai venue has been nominated and placed on the final 10 list. It is also the only cocktail bar from the Middle East to be nominated at Tales of the Cocktail awards.
The annual Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards are held in New Orleans every July to celebrate the best from the international cocktail and drinks industries. Voting takes place around the globe with industry leaders, brand ambassadors and drinks writers submitting their nominations and votes for selected US and international categories.
In each category the Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards team announce a final 10 selection before revealing the winner.
Zuma global bar development director Jimmy Barrat said in a statement: "The Tales of the Cocktail awards are among the most important awards in the world for the bar industry. We have been nominated and on the final 10 list three years in a row which is a great achievement for us.
"To receive international recognition from our peers lets us know that we are still doing important stuff. There are many great restaurant bars globally and also from the Middle East which are not on the list and that shows how competitive the category is. We love that Zuma Dubai is considered industry-leading in our category and we are very proud to represent the UAE on the international bar scene."
