Reema Baroudi receives marketing award for IHG IMEA region

Reema Baroudi, director of PR, marketing & communications, has received the IHG India, Middle East & Africa Marketing Excellence Award, presented during the IHG Commercial workshop that was held in May 2017. 

She has been with InterContinental Hotels Group for the past 16 years, having started her career at InterContinental Jordan in 2001, before transferring to InterContinental Abu Dhabi in 2006 to assist in preparing for the reopening following major refurbishments to the property.  

During her time with this property, Baroudi played a vital role in the launch of  restaurants across the property including Brazilian churrascaria Chamas, Belgian Café, the Abu Dhabi outpost of Circo which opened in 2014, Lebanese dining venue Byblos Sur Mer which launched in spring 2015, and Cho Gao, the Asian restaurant that was inaugurated recently.

Baroudi said in a statement: "I am thrilled to receive this recognition which gives me the drive to excel even more. It has truly been an honour to work for the IHG brand for the last 16 years,  and I am looking forward to continue my work alongside people who share my enthusiasm for our region and our efforts to ensure a sustainable future for our industry."
