AccorHotels opened its newest property in the Middle East - ibis Styles Manama Diplomatic Area in Bahrain – in partnership with owner, developer and asset manager Action Hotels PLC.
Launched in response to demand for economy and mid-scale brands in the Bahraini capital, ibis Styles Manama marks the 10th global collaboration between AccorHotels and Action Hotels PLC.
Action Hotels CEO Alain Debare said: “We are pleased to introduce the award-winning ibis Styles brand to Bahrain, with the opening of a property designed to strengthen the Kingdom’s hospitality offer in the economy and mid-scale segments.” He continued, “Bahrain is an important market for us and this new hotel is strategically complementary to the existing ibis Seef. Both hotels are operated under long term management agreements with AccorHotels and will benefit from commercial synergies and economies of scale.
Situated in the heart of Manama’s main government, diplomatic and financial district, the 95-key ibis Styles Manama Diplomatic Area is located within a 15-minute drive from Bahrain International Airport and offers access to corporate offices, embassies, Bahrain World Trade Centre and Moda Mall.
The hotel comprises 95 rooms including 24 family suites, with large beds and unlimited free Wi-Fi connection. Guests can visit the hotel’s main restaurant, as well as enjoy an all-you-can-eat breakfast and à la carte menu around the clock. For corporate clientele, the hotel comes complete with a meeting room and coffee break area, whilst those looking to stay fit during their stay can visit a fully equipped gym.
The ibis Styles Manama Diplomatic Area joins AccorHotels’ ibis brand portfolio, along with ibis and ibis budget. ibis Styles hotels are individually designed to offer value with a high level of comfort.
