Coffee Planet, which is the platinum sponsor for the Hotelier Middle East: Great GM Debate 2017, has revealed the expansion plans on its cards.

Its managing director Robert Jones has said that the company has invested further in the expansion of its Dubai-based roastery to include a new coffee cupping room, with the aim of enhancing the tasting process and catering to all locally roasted coffee demands.

He added: "The recent expansion includes a new range of single origin coffees, a high-end solution to freshly roasted speciality coffee in beverage outlets."

The brand recently signed a franchise deal with HB Brands to open 70 outlets across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Jones said that since that signing, Coffee Planet has many plans and projects in the pipeline. "We aim to add more product options to satisfy the hotel demand for great tasting single origin coffees and unique blends, sourced from the world’s best coffee farmers," he said.

In addition to expanding its global presence, Coffee Planet will be launching new cold brew and nitro coffee options in foodservice. It will also continue to develop its product offering alongside its complete full-service machine and maintenance solutions.

Coffee Planet and its offerings will be showcased at the Hotelier Middle East: Great GM Debate on September 26 at the Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre. Jones added: "Participating in top industry events, such as the Hotelier Middle East Great GM Debate, is a great opportunity for us at Coffee Planet. Not only does it allow us to interact with key hoteliers and industry leaders, but it is also a great platform to discuss significant trends and innovations as well as extol the benefits of locally roasted, speciality Arabica coffee.

"Through our support of the Great GM Debate 2017 we are well situated to observe the changes in coffee consumption whilst adapting to these trends, adding to our breadth of experience within the foodservice industry."
