Novotel joins forces with an app to combat food waste

Novotel has been testing an application that allows neighborhoods near its hotel addresses come and collect unsold breakfasts and buffet food from five pilot restaurants and hotels.

Launched in June 2016, the mobile application “Too Good To Go” once downloaded allows users to order from restaurants, cafes, bakeries & other stores. Novotel hotels allows communities in the neighborhood of its addresses to come and collect unsold breakfasts and buffet food from five pilot restaurants and hotels.

This partnership, reported by the french press, has been opened up to all Novotel hotels and Novotel Suites in seven French cities since January 2017.

As of next quarter, the partnership between AccorHotels and Too Good To Go will be extended to all the other brands in the Group with addresses in France.
