Glenfiddich will host the final of the Experimental Bartender Competition on Wednesday 13th September at Le Cirque in DIFC, Dubai.

Five of the region’s best bartenders will present their ideas to the public through pop up bars before the winner is crowned Most Experimental Bartender. The winner will then be sent to the global final in Scotland, hoping to beat finalists drawn from all over the world to take the top prize and make their experimental concoction famous across the globe.

Chef Wesley Tyron Berghoff from Le Cirque will create a pairing menu to sit alongside the cocktails, and guests will have the opportunity to sample all five of the finalist’s creations.

In addition, the world brand ambassador for Glenfiddich, Struan Grant-Ralph, will host small groups through the evening, guiding them through the range and tasting some exclusive whiskies.

The Experimental Bartender Competition is the debut of the Glenfiddich Experimental Programme that will be activating across Dubai from September, via a series of interactive popups that will be showcasing the brand’s maverick personality and fresh approach to experimental bartending with the aim of challenging perceptions of single malt Scotch.

Last month, Caterer Middle East was on hand to help select the five regional finalists.
